Project Summary
PremGroup’s Premelec was appointed Principal Contractor by Berwen Properties to deliver the refurbishment of an existing fire-damaged printing facility. The scope included a complete restorative bio-hazardous clean, extensive refurbishment of internal warehouse and office space, mechanical and electrical upgrade, and the replacement of the roof system and rainwater goods.
All works were to be carefully undertaken in a live and occupied warehouse facility and included the relocation of office staff to an area within the site’s compound. The project required careful planning, constant communication, and a total focus on Health and Safety. Each item within the agreed Programme was achieved on schedule ensuring our client could remain operational during the works. Premierseal’s long-standing supply chain of sub-contractors delivered to the highest standards working with our team and the client through open dialogue delivering a smoothly run project with the highest standards of workmanship.Our In house roofing and cladding division were able to provide the complete design and installation of the external envelope, providing our client with a state-of-the-art non-combustible solution achieving the objective of delivering a large-scale roofing project over an occupied building containing high-value machinery during winter months.
